Democratic Congressman Bill Foster says that not only should there be more renewable energy, but that there also needs to be a way to store it.
Foster says there is funding on the way for green energy and renewable energy storage.
Foster also says that long distance transmission of green energy is also important. He says the goal is to help green power industries get on their feet, but to eventually let the industry live on its own.
Foster says that renewable energy has to continue to grow. He also thinks that nuclear power needs to be part of the mix. Foster says that nuclear power helps save lives because it produces low pollution and it gets people out of coal mines.
Foster spoke about it a few weeks ago at the unveiling of a new solar array in Montgomery.
